In 2022, Bollywood faced a difficult year at the box office, with every big movie – whether it be an event movie or a small-budget film – failing to do well. This trend continued even with direct to OTT releases, as the movies didn’t attract enough viewership. However, 2023 started off on a positive note with the success of the movie Pathan, giving hope to the industry. The following are the top 15 movies that are expected to bring a revival to Bollywood:

  5. Sam Bahadur (starring Vicky Kausal as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, to be released on December 1, 2023)
  6. Krissh 4 (directed by Rakesh Roshan, to be released in December 2023)
  7. Dunki (directed by Raju Hirani, starring Shah Rukh Khan, to be released on December 22, 2023)
  8. Bholaa (Ajay Devgn’s fourth directorial film, to be released soon)
  9. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (starring Salman Khan and an ensemble cast, to be released soon)
  10. Adipurush (a bilingual film featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, to be released on June 2023)
